All knives on this website are original and manufactured by CCK (Chan Chi Kee) In Hong Kong.
These are NOT:

– fake “old stock” “before the logo was changed”
We source all our CCK knives directly from CCK.
Once you use them there will be no doubt whatsoever. They’re much sharper, have a thinner blade, and a constant blade taper.

Usually, but not always. As this is a niche item, procuring them is not always easy, and there might be delays. If there are issues, we will refund
We inspect all knives before shipping and perform a paper-cutting test to check that there are no nicks.
If the knife does not meet your expectations, you can send it back and we will refund it within 14 days. If the item has been damaged and is presenting new stains or nicks, your refund might be partial or might be rejected.
The stainless steel alloy used in CCK stainless steel knives is optimized for blade duration, not corrosion-resistance. While it requires much less care than a non-stainless steel knife, it’s not as stain-resistant as cookware such as pots and pans.
We ship weekly, and delivery takes a further 3 days.
A Chinese cleaver has the same uses of a Chef’s knife. While it’s called a Cleaver, it takes the name from its shape, its uses.
With a Chinese Cleaver you must not attempt to cut:
– Bones
– Ice
– Wood
– Coconut shells
With a Chinese Cleaver you should primarily slice, and chop delicately.
A Chinese Cleaver is a multi-purpose chef’s knife, used mainly for vegetables or meat without bones, for precise cutting and should be used in a slicing fashion or a delicate chopping motion.
A Chinese Chopper is a particular type of thick and sturdy Cleaver, to be used for energetic chopping on non-hard foods. The Chopper is ideal to finely cut considerable quantities of food.
A Bone Chopper is even thicker and has a different blade profile, to be used to prepare meat with bones. It’s not ideal for vegetables.
YES!!!!
You should use a wooden or plastic (Polyethene) chopping board.
You should NOT use a bamboo chopping board, as it will dull your knives too quickly.
Glass is not an appropriate material for a chopping board.
