Every knife we sell at ChineseCleavers.co.uk is a genuine CCK (Chan Chi Kee), original and made in Hong Kong. CCK has made cleavers by hand for over a century. There’s only one CCK, on Shanghai Street in the old Kowloon district, the heart of Hong Kong’s professional kitchen equipment supply and home to some of the most delicious street food we’ve ever tasted.

We buy every knife in person from CCK in Hong Kong and bring them back to the UK ourselves. We know exactly where our knives come from because we collect them directly.

You won’t find lookalikes passed off as CCK here, excuses about “old stock from before the logo changed”, or knives supposedly made in “the same factory as CCK”. Every knife comes from CCK itself.

Use a CCK slicer once and other Chinese slicers feel blunt and soulless by comparison. The blade is exceptionally thin and sharp, with a smooth, even taper from spine to edge. For bone work, CCK makes dedicated cleavers built for the job.
