CCK Bone Cleaver – Home

A scaled-down bone cleaver sized for home kitchens. Less than half the weight of the standard Bone Cleaver, manageable enough for occasional bone work without needing a professional-grade tool. Same Heavy blade profile as the full-size Bone Cleaver, so it has genuine bone-cutting capability. It’s just smaller and lighter, which makes it easier to store and less intimidating for home cooks who only need to break down a chicken or chop through spare ribs a few times a week.

Most Western home kitchens don’t have a bone cleaver at all; people rely on poultry shears or avoid bone-in cuts entirely. This is a proper bone cleaver scaled down for home use. Like its full-size siblings, it’s forged and sharpened to an ogival edge profile, with cutting geometry closer to a high-end wood axe than a kitchen knife, with plenty of material behind the edge to drive through bone cleanly. It handles chicken joints, raw and cooked spare ribs, and duck with a clean cut that shears won’t give you.

Pork and beef ribs at home scale, no problem. For heavier work (splitting raw pork shoulders and chopping through heavy ribs), step up to the Restaurant Bone Cleaver (Super Heavy profile) or the standard Bone Cleaver (full-size, for portioning roast meats).

Stainless steel only, appropriate for a home kitchen bone cleaver where low maintenance matters. The blade is corrosion-resistant and easy to keep clean. Choose the rustic mulberry wood handle for the traditional look and grip even with wet hands, or the stainless steel handle for the fully dishwasher-friendly option.

Sizes

Which size? 二號 No.2 (M) is the all-rounder and what we recommend for most home kitchens. 大號 No.1 (L) for larger setups or anyone who handles bone-in cuts regularly. 三號 No.3 (S) for the smallest kitchens and lightest occasional use.
